Launched in 2003, this site is positioning itself in the niche segment of thematic maps with a global perspective. Reacting to events happening the world over, Maps of World has grown from an 80-page site to over 600 pages of content, maps and information. The site now has dedicated sections on the Olympics and United States of America. Recently it has initiated development of a travel information section and a section on the FIFA World Cup 2006.
